How to Make a Simple Paper Fan

Sun happy.png

Black and white folded fan.

A simple Paper Fan

To make a fan, you will need the following materials:

  • Construction paper, 11" x 8 1/2"
  • Stapler

Decorate both sides of a piece of the 11 x 8 1/2-inch construction paper. Beginning at the short side, fold over and under, making 3/4 inch wide strips, down length of the paper.

Hold one end of the folded paper firmly and staple several times and on both sides. Holding the stapled end, flip wrist rapidly so that the fan creates a "wind."
